Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 August 2026

One Loop stores everything you create on your device. Your Loops, confirmation history, photos, and voice recordings never leave your phone. There is no account, no sign-in, and no cloud sync.

What we do not collect

We do not collect, transmit, store, or have any access to:

  • Your Loops or their names
  • Your confirmation history or timestamps
  • Photos you take within the app
  • Voice recordings you make within the app
  • How you use the app

One Loop contains no advertising, no usage analytics, and no third-party tracking. Apart from processing in-app purchases (see "Purchases" below), the app's features work offline.

Purchases

One Loop offers an optional paid upgrade ("One Loop Pro"). We use RevenueCat to process and verify in-app purchases. When you make or restore a purchase, RevenueCat receives purchase information and a randomly generated identifier used to recognize your purchases across devices and reinstalls. This identifier is not your name or Apple ID, and it is not used to track your activity in the app. This information is used only to determine whether you have unlocked One Loop Pro and to give us aggregate sales figures.

Making or restoring a purchase requires an internet connection; the rest of the app does not.

Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see or receive your payment details.

Camera and microphone

Camera and microphone access are used only to create confirmations you choose to make. Photos and audio recordings are saved in the app's private storage on your device. They are not added to your photo library, and they are not uploaded anywhere.

You can decline or revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings. The app remains usable without them.

Notifications

If you set a reminder, One Loop schedules a local notification on your device. Notifications are generated on your phone and are not sent through any server.

Crash reports

If you have opted in to sharing analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may provide us with anonymized crash reports. These are collected and managed by Apple, and they contain no Loop content, photos, or recordings.

Data retention and deletion

  • Deleting a Loop deletes its confirmation history, photos, and recordings
  • "Delete all data" in Settings removes everything the app has stored on your device
  • You can also export your Loop data as a JSON file from Settings; this is shared only where you choose to send it (media is not included)
  • Deleting the app removes all of your on-device data

Because none of your Loops, photos, recordings, or usage are uploaded, there is no server-side copy of them to request or delete. The only information held off your device is your purchase record, kept by Apple and by RevenueCat (linked to the anonymous identifier above, not to your identity). You manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.

Children

One Loop is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
